Their current job or business is providing their livelihood. They have to pay for their family’s expenses, their children’s milk, their children’s education, and everything else.

As a result, they cannot switch to something else.

Finally, they remain poor.

They start with one thing. When they develop that, they start another. They build a business around one product. When that product generates profit, they develop another product. When one company becomes profitable, they establish another company.

In this way, they build groups of companies.

They take on more and more responsibility and workload while they have the physical ability to do so. They take on a tremendous amount of work and continuously develop themselves.

On the other hand, people with a poor mindset may earn 20,000 or 30,000 taka and think, “I’ve done a lot. I’m earning enough. This is sufficient. I don’t want anything more.”

That’s why they don’t try to do anything else.

When they go shopping, the first thing they have to do is look at the price tag to see how much the clothing costs and whether it fits within their budget.

If someone in their family becomes sick and needs to see a doctor, they may have to borrow money just to pay for the treatment.

How can this person ever become financially secure?

With the rising cost of living, they have to carefully calculate every expense within that same limited amount of money. They have to think many times before spending even a single taka.

And unfortunately, this becomes the story of their lives—until the very end.

This becomes their life’s narrative, their composition, and ultimately, their conclusion.

So, what is the way out?

The way out is to do something alongside your current profession.

But in Bangladesh, opportunities to do something alongside your existing job or profession are not always readily available. There are opportunities, but many people simply don’t know about them.
